The Description
Water is remarkably good at rearranging the planet.
The challenge is getting students to explain how its properties connect to weathering, erosion, and moving Earth materials. These partner quiz cards put that foundational reasoning back into play.
Use the water-properties and surface-process cards in moving partner reviews, independent Quiz & Cruise, or a teacher-directed Carousel.
What Students Will Do
Review properties of water and surface processes aloud
ask and answer questions with classmates
switch roles, cards, and partners
adapt the deck for stations or independent flashcards.
Why This Resource Is Different
Calling everything 'erosion' is a tempting shortcut when a picture includes moving water. But water changes Earth materials in different ways, and I want students to explain the process they actually see evidence for.
These short, repeatable questions give students a reason to use the right mechanism—not simply the right noun. Use them for movement-based partner exchanges or slower stations when you want to hear more of the reasoning.
